Located along the site of the legendary 914 sound studios where Bruce Springsteen's "Greetings from Asbury Park" was recorded in 1972. Among the artists who recorded at 914: Melanie, Loudon Wainwright III, Blood Sweat and Tears, Ashford and Simpson, Dusty Springfield, the Ramones and James Taylor. Janis Ian's 1975 album "Between the Lines" featuring the song "At Seventeen" won Grammys for her, Arthur and Alexander.
Envisioned to to be a PLUG & PLAY setting with complete back line including house keys, guitars, amps, mics, and drums, artist need only bring their talent to perform.
The focus will be on local independent rising stars highlighted by National touring artists of all music genres Rock, Country, Blues, Folk, Pop, Hip Hop, Metal, Bluegrass, Gospel etc..
In addition to musical performance Studio (914) will be hosting Plays, Musicals, Comedy & Dance events.
We have already begun scheduling "Ballroom Brunch", "Evening of Improv", "Country Dance Party",
"Everything Swing", "A Night of Scenes" and many more great themes.
The restaurant & club will provide as not only a LIVE entertainment venue but also a lesson & rehearsal studio where bands can regularly practice without the hassle of complaining neighbors also several industry professionals will be offering Vocal, Acting, Music and Dance instruction on premises.
